DR. RENA LIU
Dr. Rena Liu is the founder of CSD College, with over 30 years of experience in the interior design industry. She holds a Professional Doctorate in Interior Design from GULL USA and is a certified vocational training lecturer and designated inspector recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources (JPK).
She has assessed institutions such as LimKokWing University, MTTC College, and IDA College, upholding the quality of vocational education in Malaysia.
Previously serving as Chief Interior Designer, she also founded a successful interior design firm and operated a full-service furniture factory. Her expertise spans structural detailing, design consultation, and project management.
Driven by a passion for nurturing talent, she founded CSD College to empower aspiring designers. Her journey is a true inspiration—showing that with the right support, anyone can rise from zero to hero.

With over 15 years of industry experience, he brings a solid and well-rounded foundation in interior design, having served as Chief Interior Designer at a reputable firm. His expertise spans structural detailing, computer graphics, and AI-based design software—seamlessly combining creativity with advanced technology.
His profile features high-profile projects across Malaysia, including Genting Highlands, KLIA, and Star World Casino. Now part of the academic team at CSD College, he is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of designers—proving that with passion, guidance, and real-world knowledge, students can confidently shape their own future in the design industry.
Elaine Yap
Head of Graphic Media Design Department
A Dean’s Honour List achiever with hands-on experience as a Graphic Media Designer in a professional studio. She has worked on branding and advertising projects for notable companies such as Young Yans, and Natural Treatment. Experience in engagements with companies of Top Glove, KCC Paints, and Precision Control. Specializing in graphic design, social media, digital marketing, copywriting, and computer graphics software, she brings a well-rounded skillset to the classroom. Passionate about nurturing creative talent, she is committed to helping students turn their design skills into real career opportunities.
